Come to the Modric Cave situated close to the National Park Paklenica and try caving. The Modric Cave is 829 m long and has chambers with stalactites and stalagmites. The cave was discovered in 80's of the last century and has been opened for visitors since 2014. Before you decide to visit this place, you have to remember that there are no paths, lighting or steps. The cave is still in its natural state.
The another adventurous attraction is horseback riding in Dakovo where the State Stud Farm - one of the oldest European farms - is located. There are bred Lipizzaner Horses which gained world popularity. You can try your hand at horseback riding there.
Istria is a perfect place for paragliding. Stunning scenery of the plateau of the Ćićarija mountain attracts many people who want to combine advnture with the beauty of nature. The place offers an altitude of 550 meters, and south-southwestern winds.
The charming and picturesque landscape of Dalmatia is a perfect place for cycling. Diversified areas of mountains, the seaside, national parks, islands are waiting to be explored. During that kind of trip you can also see how locals spend theit time and how hospitable they are.
If you are interested in climbing, you are advised to visit the Paklenica National Park which is the most frequented climbing location in Croatia. The routes are prepared for everyone beginners and professionalists. The Paklenica NP offers 340 routes on quality limestone rock. The most recommended period for climbing is April – October. In Spring there is oginised International Speed Climbing Competition.
